ch = chain
dc = double crochet
sl st = slip stitch
MC = main color
CA = color A
Materials (I used)
- 4 mm crochet hook,
- for (MC) white color 32 yards
- for (CA) megenta color 2 yards
19 dc x 7 rows = 4"
Hat circumference = 5.5"
Crown to edge = 3.5"
beg ch doesn't count as st. If you want to make large one, repeat row 3 one or two times. And repeat row 5 for get the length of your desire.
Row 1: with (MC) ch 2, 12 dc into magic ring, sl st to ch 2. (12 dc)
Row 2: ch 2, * 2 dc in next st * repeat to end, sl st to ch 2. (24 dc)
Row 3: ch 2, * 2 dc in next st, 1 dc in next st * repeat to end, sl st to ch 2.
Row 4: repeat row 3. (53 dc)
Row 5: ch 2, * 1 dc in each around, sl st to ch 2. (53 dc)
Row 6: repeat row 5. (53 dc)
Row 7: with (CA) repeat row 5. (53 dc)
Row 8: with (MC) repeat row 5. (53 dc) Fasten off. Weave the ends.
